Dear Guests,
Niederrimbach, a
village belonging to Creglingen, is situated in a pretty side
valley off the main Tauber valley. Creglingen,
the place with the shops is about 3 kilometres away. The Tauber
valley cycle pah is only 1,5 kilometres away.
It is also the ideal conection for cyclists on route for our
neighbouring city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber and in the other
direction
to Weikersheim, Tauberbischofsheim, to the Tauber estuary
in Wertheim where it flows into the river Main.According to surveys,
the "Romantic Road" is Germany's
most famous tourist and holiday route and runs right through the
Tauber valley- more or less
right in front of our door. We can offer 3 holiday flats
classified in 2005 by the German Tourist Board (DTV), all
awarded with three
stars (F ***). Breakfast is also available as an extra. You can
also use our recreation area, garden furniture and we also have
bikes
to lend. The places in the area that one just has to have seen are
Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Tauberbischofsheim, Weikersheim,
Würzburg, Dinkelsbühl and Bad Mergentheim. Also have a look around
Creglingen, with the ancient nun's cloister in Fraunental,
the
famous altar by Tilman Riemenschneider in the "chapel of
the lord " (Herrgottskirche) in Creglingen.
When
the sun is shining you can go swimming either in lakes or open
air pools, for people who like walking we have information
leaflets.
This is also the case, if you are interested in cycling along
either the Tauber valley or one of its picturesc side valleys.
Of course we always
up to date with the events in Rothenburg. One of the newest and
very popular attractions are the new lakes in Münster, about 6
km away.
But
our area isn't only worth a visit in the summer holiday season:
With a little powdering of snow on the rooves of our
neighbouring, medieval
city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber this picture-postcard motive is
also worth seeing. The same is to say about the beautiful autumn
colours
of the trees and the colours of the budding trees in
spring.
We
hope you will enjoy exploring our website and are looking
forward to hearing from you!
Yours,
Doris and Gerhard Kellermann
